Review: The Motherz – Sweat – Release date: December 12, 2025

Well, Friday is a set for new releases, and it might have been a wish of The Motherz, a powerhouse trio that tries to shake your walls that it was Friday the 13th and not 12th, so that they could release their debut single ‘Sweat’ on that date.

Still, if you are in for some wall-shaking hard/metal/stoner rock (not one of those, all of them), then Cedric Pfister (Lead Vocals/Bass) Miguel Montalban (Guitar) and Jake Cook (Drums) who comprise The Motherz are glad to oblige with this one.

It is hard to say how many takes it took the band to record this one, but they probably had to stop them from doing it at some point, because they were probably shaking the foundations of the old venerable Abbey Road Studios in London where this one was recorded. I’m not sure whether your neighbors will love you if you play this one too loud.
