Jaime Kyle Releases Her Song ‘Wild One’ and Announces an Upcoming Album

This artist is a force to be reckoned with! Classic Rock AOR listed Jaime Kyle at #19 in their Top Fifty Females in Rock! She has moved right on up in a career that is predominantly male and was the first female artist from Nashville to be signed to a major record deal in NYC (with Atlantic/ Atco) and the press called her “The Goddess of Hard Rock.” Her songs have sold 19 million copies globally.

Jaime’s songs have been covered by other industry greats, like Michael English, Levon, Baton Rouge, Air Supply, Howard Leese (of Heart and Bad Company), Jo Dee Messina, Lee Greenwood, Joe Lynn Turner to name a few and she has performed with many more.

Jaime wrote “Wild One” in the early 90’s and it was covered by the country artist, Faith Hill. Faith included the song on her debut album in 1994 and the song spent four weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart. This was a first for a debut artist and gave Faith her first number one hit!

Jaime produced and engineered this re-released version of the song as well. “’Wild One’ is a true story about my childhood and the spirit of every girl,” Jaime explains. “It’s about not being afraid to follow your own dreams and believing in yourself in the face of adversity.”

Rock at Night says: “The song opens with a hit-making hook and a huge wall of sound created by Jaime’s and her expert skills at production. The tune is up tempo, with great guitar work and layered backing vocals and Jaime sings lead with her textured, perfect pitch voice. Anita grew up in a rock and roll radio station that her father owned and has a musical family. Spent a few years singing back up. Now sings in the shower!
