Jim Fite hails from Livonia, Michigan and is a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter. He has worked with many genres, including rock and roll and even country! Like many independent artists, he started his love of music by performing in church and then began playing drums 4th grade and guitar at age 16–up to 10 hours a day. He is releasing his single “Boom Boom Boom,” an old time rock and roll song that will get your toes tapping.
Fite says about his new single, “She makes my heart beat, “Boom Boom Boom” whenever around. The song confirms she’s the one for me.”
“The writing and recording process includes starting out with a “draft” on Garage Band in my home recording studio playing all the instruments and singing, then I bring the file to Chuck Alkazian, my producer at Pearl Sound Studios.” Fite continues, “We spend the entire day, normally 8 – 10 hours converting the draft on his equipment and sound stage.”
