By “Tampa” Earl Burton, Rock At Night Tampa
Interview: Jeanice Lee of UK band Jeanicelee
“This time on the Rock at Night Podcast, “Tampa” Earl Burton had a chance to sit down with one of the fresh sounds from the United Kingdom, Jeanice Lee. Jeanice leads her namesake band, Jeanicelee, and has put out a brand new CD called Urban Legends. We’ll hear some of the music from that CD and talk to Jeanice about touring around the UK, the difficulties in getting a later start in the rock and roll game, and how tough it is to do a 40-hour work week while also pursuing rock stardom. Enjoy hearing from one of the best new acts out of Britain this year…all on the Rock at Night Podcast!”

I grew up in a household full of rock music, studied journalism in college, and then became a scientist.Although my science career has served me well, music has always played a major role in my life. I grew up reading "Creem" magazine; I play several musical instruments as a "hobby";and it seems a camera has always been in my hand. Now, I am combining what I love the most--music and photography--serving as editor of Rock At Night. I travel between the US and UK seeking my dream! My motto: life is short...no regrets. Chyrisse
