Grab a neck brace. Bad Nerves just dropped the music video for their heaviest track to date, “Network,” and if you aren’t paying attention yet, you’re officially late to the party. The Essex five-piece graced the YouTube live chat last night to watch the premiere with fans, probably before immediately packing their bags to leave again.
Remember when Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong casually labeled them “the best band in England right now” and dragged them along for a South American stadium tour? Yeah, punk’s worst-kept secret is entirely out of the bag. They just finished tearing through Europe and North America with heavyweights like The Offspring and Die Toten Hosen, but apparently, sleep is for the weak. They’re ditching the UK again shortly to cross the Atlantic for a headline U.S. tour to close out the year.
The track is already getting heavy rotation from the likes of Kerrang, BBC Radio 1, Classic Rock, and New Noise Magazine, but
Rock At Night really nailed the vibe: “Raw, unadulterated punk in its glory. Bad Nerves will give you whiplash—and you’ll love it.”
“Network” is reportedly the first taste of a “bold new chapter” for the band, teasing a massive upcoming announcement. Keep your eyes peeled and consider yourself warned.
