Review: Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers – Glory – Release date November 7, 2025

There seems to be something quite hard rocking and harmony-laden in the drinking water down in Australia. Whatever it is, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers — Anna Ryan (they/she; vocals/guitar), Scarlett McKahey (she/her; guitar/vocals), Jaida Stephenson (she/her; bass), and Neve van Boxsel (she/her; drums) who have been coming up with some quite intoxicating high-energy pop/rock down under, have their second album ‘Glory’ in record store stalls, and anybody needing a hefty dose of pop/rock energy boost, should tune their ears in their direction.

Their efforts didn’t remain unnoticed so far – the band band has won multiple ARIA, AIR, and Rolling Stone awards, while also being named one of Spotify’s Artists To Watch and being selected for Spotify’s global Radar program. They were also hand-picked to open for legendary international heavyweights Foo Fighters and Pearl Jam, the latter who brought them to the US this past spring as sole support for six of their arena dates.

‘Glory’ just shows why all the accolades and why they were supporting Foo Fighters and Pearl Jam and it just might give them that headline spot quite soon, thank you.
