The cover here speaks of three goddesses it seems, but essentially is sort of a Seattle supergroup, actually has four members – Robin Edwards (Lisa Prank), Bree Mckenna (Tacocat), Julia Shapiro (Chastity Belt), and Emily Nokes (Tacocat).
Yet, it seems they don’t care, because they also seem quite confident at what they’re doing, since they are doing this free-for -all pop with such careless abandon that it can only work if you know exactly what your doing that you really don’t have to care after all.
Sure, it is a risky bet, but these four girls seem to have exactly what the title of this album says – goddess energy, but also talent and experience to carry it all through. The already showed all this on their previous album -‘Seattle Gossip (2017), but ‘Goddess Energy’ takes everything one step further with its crystal clear melodies and sound that can easily fit any occasion.
