ROCK AT NIGHT SAYS: Weimar’s clever new release “The Hangers-On” considers a modern-day terrain of stalkers of various forms and their unsettling façades. With the accompanying video, Weimar has concocted a surreal cocktail of grotesque characters, Grand Guignol, and obliquely dark humour that suits the track’s ethos perfectly. Perhaps not for those afflicted with coulrophobia (fear of clowns)—but neither are the recent rotation of nightmarish characters at 10 Downing Street. Highly entertaining and most appropriate for Halloween!
