
The town of Wrexham is once again expecting to welcome over 15,OOO festival goers to the annual Focus Wales event. The three day feast of music and arts runs from 7th-9th October will feature over 250 live acts across twenty venues as well as art, film screenings and interactive sessions and conferences.
Over the years Focus Wales has featured major artists including Catfish and the Bottlemen, Neck Deep, Skindred, Charlotte Church and the Magic Numbers and is recognised as Welsh music’s premiere event. The line-up this year again features a rich variety that includes Richard Hawley, Gruff Rhys, BC Camplight, Kelly Lee Owens and Don Letts alongside a host of emerging artists from Wales and around the world.
The town will be a hive of activity as festivals goers hop from one location to another to catch the eclectic mix of music on offer. The venues, range from intimate settings in local pubs to the majestic 16th century St Giles church in the heart of the town.
Unable to go ahead last year because of the pandemic Focus Wales celebrates its 10th anniversary this year and promises to be another memorable weekend for Welsh music and arts.
