Interview: Glenn Page of the Len Price 3 – July 16, 2025
Rock At Night was excited to discovered a UK band named the Len Price 3 after reviewing their recent single “Emily’s Shop.” I was intrigued by their capture of the British Invasion sound and delved into their catalog of albums, which spans almost 20 years. Their music sounds like it could have easily aired across transistor radios in the 60s along the likes of The Who, The Kinks, and Small Faces.
The band, which is comprised of Glenn Page (guitar/vocals), Steve Huggins (bass), and Neil Fromow (drums), hails from Medway, Kent, which is often an inspiration for their tunes. They have performed at SXSW in the States and in New York City, where Steven Van Zandt discovered them. He immediately signed them onto his label Wicked Cool Records. The band is releasing a new album in October entitled Misty Medway Magick.
In this interview, singer/songwriter Glenn Page of the Len Price 3 discusses backstories of songs about local people and places like “Billy the Quid,” “Mr. Grey,” and “London Institute,” using vintage equipment to record at Ranscombe Studios, performing with the same members for about 20 years, the new single “Emily’s Shop,” the new upcoming album Misty Medway Magick, which even features a cimbalom in a song. Listen to this fascinating interview!
