Toadies announce more live dates starting in August and running through October of this year with some select festival stops including Louder Than Life, Aftershock, Hoochenanny Whiskey & Music and Festival, and Shadow Of The City at The Stone Pony.

The dates will support the band’s new forthcoming studio album out this Friday May 1. It was recorded with Steve Albini at Electrical Audio in Chicago before his unfortunate passing.

Albini’s technique of capturing bands raw and live was the perfect match the for band’s energy resulting in the classic Toadies sound, Vaden Lewis says: “No computers were used for tracking or mixing, just old school tape and razor blade.”

Bassist Doni Blair adds: “The bands vibe in and out of the studio was the best it’s been and we’ve carried that onto the stage.”

The first two singles from the album ‘The Charmer’ and ‘Damage’ are seeing a healthy amount of spins at radio across the country and will be recording a session for KEXP while stopping in Seattle.
