New Release and Video: “Hollywood

Release Date: June 10, 2022

This is a great narrative video for the new song “Hollywood” off of the upcoming album “Force Majeure.” (Keep your eyes here for an upcoming review of the new album!) Using a clever concept the video tells us a story through the lens of a late night talk show and it’s very amusing and animated host.

Sweden’s H.E.A.T.

The song itself hails back to Hollywood and rocks in a styled way paying homage to the 80’s bands playing hard rock and rocking their beautiful hair. The video shows the viewer a world of wonder, glamour and fantasies that come true. Or does it?  With their new single and the accompanying video, H.E.A.T deals with the question of appearance and reality, the standards created by the media and the pressure that weighs on the younger generations. With the accompanying music video, the band makes this rather serious matter accessible but with a funny little twist – they play on the first ever H.E.A.T City talk show (keep your eyes open for the Easter eggs).

The band is: Kenny Leckremo on lead vocals, Dave Dalone on guitar, Jona Tee playing keyboards and organ, Jimmy Jay on bass and Don Crash on the drums. The studio album, “Force Majeure” will drop August 5th and you can pre-order it HERE. The band will also be on an extensive tour throughout the EU and Australia during the summer and fall–get tickets and tour dates HERE.

Rock at Night says: “Cool concept for a video of a great rock song…definitely anticipating the studio album coming soon! The animated talk show host was amusing, the song was 80’s, “big hair” styled rock and roll reminding me of Bon Jovi and other bands from that time period, hard rocking, hooks galore and sing-able; Kenny’s vocals are amazing! Loved the details within the video such as the show’s credits rolling at the end–completing the story with some realism. If you can see this band live, definitely do!
