New Release Single and Video: “Finally Free”
Release Date: August 16th, 2021
Bailey James is “Finally Free” in her newest single and music video. Bailey’s newest country hit single released on June 4th, 2021 and is now heading upwards on the Billboard Country Indicator Chart. “Finally Free” was also featured at The Grand Ole Opry as “The Circle Song of The Week.” She has more than 200,000 followers on her socials and a Top 40 hit already under her belt!
Bailey says about the song: “This song means so much to me, it represents who I am as an artist. I embrace life, music, and my relationships with an open mind. This single just poured out of me and I hope I inspire everyone to break free from the chains that bind them and live their life to the fullest.”
In the video, Bailey goes from an urban landscape dressed in dark colored business attire, hits the road in a compact red car and high-tails it to the countryside to meet with friends. When she gets there she has changed clothes and wears a bright floral print, expressing a more colorful life, happy times and shedding off the old life without her relationship, a transformation!
The songwriters were Bailey James Koehler, Nolan Neal and John Allan Miller and the song was produced by Matt McClure. She is fully entrenched in the Nashville community and has been creating music there since she was twelve years old. Remarkably, Bailey is eighteen years old now and her voice has a depth of maturity that few vocalists can ever achieve.
Rock at Night says: “What a voice! This is a song that can’t be defined by genre. It is blues rock, country rock, alt-country, rhythm and blues and a whole lot of soul. Bailey’s voice is mournful, laden with angst and she expresses her emotions to the hilt with her fantastic runs and superb vocals. I was imagining a younger Etta James while listening to this song for the first time. We expect to hear more from Bailey!“
