Gillian Smith

What a voice this alt-country, country rock, country pop singer has! It is a joy to hear her sing. You may not have heard of this young artist yet, but you just have, so remember her name because you are going to hear more from her! She just released her first single “Guess You Couldn’t” and it’s available now on all streaming platforms.

Gillian hails from Southern Central Pennsylvania and has been into music since she was a young child. You can hear by her songs that she has a love of the classic country artists like Dolly and Reba, but her influences are also modern like Miranda Lambert and and Carrie Underwood.

She has been performing at a lot of the renowned venues in Nashville and this coming up weekend will be opening for Carrie Underwood at the Barefoot Country Music Fest in Wildwood, New Jersey. For more information about the festival, click here! She will be featured on Red 102.3 Country Music and The Legends for their Sunday Night Center Stage on August 29th.

Currently she is in the middle of writing her debut EP with plans to release it at the end of this year while at the same time studying at Salisbury University.

About “Guess You Couldn’t” Rock at Night says: “This song is all about modern love that is not working out and the lyrics are bright, fresh and very personal. Gillian’s songwriting, her voice and it’s lovely vibrato are standouts on this cut. Lots of hooks, this is a track that will grab you and have you singing along.

Her managers are Tia Welsh & Leslie Cappello of Cappello Welsh Management. Publicity Nation and the Cappello Welsh team are excited to see where Gillian‘s career leads. Rock at Night can’t wait for the EP!
