New Video and Single: “Keep It Simple”

Swiss-based four-piece blues rock band the Ellis Mano Band released their new single and video “Keep It Simple” on Friday April 9th, 2021. You can watch the video HERE. “Keep It Simple” is the first single from their next studio album “Ambedo” that will drop on Friday June 25, 2021 by Jazzhaus Records. A beautiful blend of rock, pop, blues and soul, this is a song for today with it’s profound lyrics that everyone needs to take to heart.
The band has described their sound as “a sort of rock n’ soul, rooted deep down in the blues.” The band is influenced by artists such as Led Zeppelin, J.J. Cale, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Jimi Hendrix and more recently John Mayer. The Ellis Mano Band have put their own unique stamp on the blues which is American born but has now influenced musicians everywhere and can be heard world-wide.
The title of the single, “Keep It Simple” refers to LOVE, the one subject on the planet that is certainly not simple. The single can be streamed and downloaded now and the album can be pre-ordered HERE.
On the upcoming studio album that will drop on on June 25th, “We chose the album title “Ambedo” because it reflects the state of the process of recording an album,” says guitarist Edis Mano. “Ambedo” refers to the tendency both to reflect and to absorb. Anita grew up in a rock and roll radio station that her father owned and has a musical family. Spent a few years singing back up. Now sings in the shower! She is a USAF veteran and was elected to local office and worked as staff on three presidential campaigns as a Social Media and Virtual Outreach expert. Plays a variety of musical instruments including ukulele and she loves drum circles. Her favorite music genres are all of them--Alternative to Zydeco. Promotes bands and independent artists through ANITA STEWART PROMOTIONS. She also brought SOFAR SOUNDS to Tampa. When she is not writing, she is knitting, painting, attending concerts and live music jams and exploring nature with her camera. She has recently retired but no rocking chair for her! She has been reporting for Rock at Night since 2014.
