Review: Chris Berardo’s cover of “Baby Blue” – February 26, 2021
Rock At Night has always appreciated classic rock bands so when we heard that Chris Berardo just released a cover of Badfinger’s “Baby Blue”, we were more than thrilled. Staying true to Pete Ham’s originally penned version, Berardo breathes new life into the song. With a slight raspiness to the vocals and full harmonies, we welcome this version. Check it out:

ABOUT CHRIS BERARDO
Chris Berardo has been in the rock scene for quite some time now, having toured much of the country opening shows for The Doobie Brothers, The Marshall Tucker Band, NRBQ, Dickey Betts (The Allman Brothers), America, and many others. Previously praised by high-caliber talent such as Chris Hicks (The Marshall Tucker Band), Walt Wilkins, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Member Richie Furay (Buffalo Springfield, Poco), Chris will be releasing even more music this year.
I grew up in a household full of rock music, studied journalism in college, and then became a scientist.Although my science career has served me well, music has always played a major role in my life. I grew up reading "Creem" magazine; I play several musical instruments as a "hobby";and it seems a camera has always been in my hand. Now, I am combining what I love the most--music and photography--serving as editor of Rock At Night. I travel between the US and UK seeking my dream! My motto: life is short...no regrets. Chyrisse
