Chris Day and Andy Kravitz performed at the Great American Pub in Narberth, PA on 11/04, and Rock at Night was there! It was an intimate show at a friendly pub where everyone was having a great time. Chris is a Singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Philadelphia, who has toured the world and performed alongside legendary Tommy Conwell. He has also opened for legendary acts like – David Bowie, Robert Plant, Rod Stewart, The Pretenders, Bryan Adams, The Ramones, etc. Andy is a drummer, percussionist, and music producer (check out Sound and Vision linked below) who was nominated for 14 Grammys and won several. He has performed with legends like – The Rolling Stones, Billy Joel, Cypress Hill, Rick Vito, Imogen Heap, The Goats, Kris Kross, etc.
The duo started performing around 9 PM at this intimate space and absolutely rocked everyone there. Chris was walking around the pub, sometimes going on top of the seats and making the audience participate in his act. His energy was amazingly contagious to everyone in the crowd. Andy was grooving with his drum set and djembe, switching between different sticks to create various sounds – he even had a stick that glowed red and blue. In the long set-list, they had different songs to offer from some of originals to covers of some classics like “Free Fall,” “Wonderwall,” “Got a Feeling,” “Helter Skelter,” “Gimme Shelter,” etc. With just drums and guitar accompanied by Chris’s vocals, they were able to deliver a great set.
I really enjoyed the performance of the duo and I would recommend everyone to follow them so you will know where they will be performing next.
