Live Review: Anti-Flag with Bad Cop/ Bad Cop and Doll Skin – The Foundry, Philadelphia-November 12, 2021
Punk Rock veteran Anti-Flag is on a giant North American tour with Bad Cop/ Bad Cop and Doll Skin. Rock at Night was present at The Foundry, Philadelphia on Nov 12, 2021, for one of their shows.
The Foundry enforced COVID restrictions maintenance of a limited capacity and by requesting proof of vaccination and/or COVID tests reports. Also, I would like to mention that the event was really well organized and managed even with the restrictions.

The venue is a perfect sport for a punk rock nightāsmall stage, very narrow gap between the artists and the audience, a bar in the venue, and powerful speakers. The show began with punk band Doll Skin. They performed with an outburst of energy. Ā Sydney Dolezal was spectacular on stage. Next came Bad Cop/ Bad Cop, who took the excitement to the next level. I have to mention Linh Leāshe is just ‘fire’ on stage.

Finally, it was time for Anti-Flag. Right before they came on stage āBlitzkrieg Bopā was playing on the speaker and Chris Barker started playing along with the songāand the audience went crazy! They performed all their hits like āThe Diseaseā, āBroken Bonesā, āAmerican Attractionā, and āDie for the Governmentā. The set lasted for around an hour and the only way to describe the show was āexplosion of a ‘Punk Bomb’ā, with one song coming after another.

During the concert Anti-Flag mentioned the initiatives they support outside of musicāone being bone marrow donation. The band encouraged the audience to sign up. It is commendable for a band to take initiative in such activities.
It was a fantastic show and for anyone who is a punk rock lover, I would highly recommend catching them live during this North American tour.
