Lynch Mob

Venue: The Wolf Den @Mohegan Sun, Uncasville, Connecticut, -Sunday November 20, 2016

With a packed venue of both young and older fans Lynch Mob had everyone howling with delight in the Wolf Den. Founding member George Lynch’s ( also known for his famed guitar work with 80’s hair metal band Dokken) unique style and piercing riffs exemplified why many have considered him on of the greatest guitarist of all time .

The first and current Front Man Oni Logan’s vocals were  as strong as ever opening with “She’s Evil but She’s Mine” and then ripping into “River of Love”.  Oni proved he still has the chops to go high and not brake down.

The Original Lynch Mob members George and Oni were backed by bass guitarist Sean McNabb and Jimmy D’Andra on drums. Both McNabb (Quite Riot, Great White, Queensryche and Edgar Winter) and D’Andra (Bulletboys) more than held their own with these Icons.

A fan friendly McNabb played up to the crowd while a highly energetic Bulletboy (as D’Andra is nicknamed) thundered through hits such as, “Hell Child”, “All I want” and my all time favorite  “Wicked Sensation”.

Oni’s haunting vocals to open the Dokken cover  “Into The Fire”  was a special treat for long time Dokken fans as George shredded ala Eddie Van Halen, resurrecting the question of “who did the two handed tap first?”

This band is a well-oiled machine that can rock with the best of them and is still innovating, as displayed between songs with impromptu solos by George on guitar followed by Jimmy on drums.

George joked with the crowd, asking if anyone recorded them to please send it to him so they can sell it.

The Lynch Mob Tour continues into 2017, it should be high on everyone’s Xmas wish list!
